On Thursday, March 21st, students participated in Kick Butts Day, a day when youth are encouraged to speak up against large tobacco companies and their advertising toward youth. It is also a day adult smokers can use as a cessation date. Students were presented with prevention materials, anti-tobacco displays, and were able to ask Central Vermont New Directions Coalition Prevention Educator, Marcus Hass, any questions they had concerning tobacco.

U-32 is now using Tandem for Schools to manage all school calendars and events. It will be THE place for you to find all school event information. Information about U-32 events and activities will now be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our new on-line calendar system.
The program is incredibly user-friendly and allows users to completely customize the information they would like to receive. Once you get used to the system, you will find that it is easier to use and allows for greater filtering, searching and it is much easier to follow events on the calendar. Events can be requested by the public, and parents/guardians can 'subscribe' to calendar updates to follow specific group activities.
Click here for a quick tutorial of how to use the calendar.
